To the left of Michael is Julia Boros, with Kate Haslam further to the left and in front. To the right of Kate, down the front, is Joanna McWaters, Nina and Pam.
1 CommentMichael, Anna and others founded the small instrumental ensemble Ayres & Graces from amongst enthusiastic members of AUCS. Here they are performing at an AUCS camp with Michael conducting, and players from left to right: Martin Penhale, Jane ?, Andrew McWhirter (I think he had a crush on Michael), Anna Booth, Airlie McCoy, Michelle Grady & Rosemary Byron-Scott

Leave a CommentA huge effort was made by many attending Anna’s 21st in March 1989. I think the theme was famous people or characters from history. Michael was one of the wise men(? – he’s in the shadow behind Anna cutting the cake), Anna & Kenneth as Elizabeth & Darcy, Craig & Carolyn as Marie Antoinette & Louis, Michelle as ?, Helen and Martin as Mary Queen of Scotts & Henry 8th, Katy and James in mediaeval costume, John & Dalece as the King and Queen of Hearts, and Paddy as a bishop.
